President's Letter
I sent a letter via email to all of our club members who have an email address on our website, I also called many of those without an email. I am adding that email to this portion of the newsletter, here it is.
Howdy Clubmember!!
I was wanting to remind you about the 1st Annual Fall Frenzy Buck Show, Collection and AI Seminar. The last weekend of October at the Newton County Fairgrounds in Neosho,Mo. We are asking all clubmembers to bring an item for the raffle table, this can be a white elephant from home, or a donation from your local Feed Store. We are also asking for a bake goods to sell at our concession stand, or a 12 pk of soda pop. If everybody brings an item, it will help ensure a successful show. If you are unable to attend, and would like to make a monetary donation, we would appreciate that as well.
At our last club meeting in August, we decided to make goodie bags for the directors to get an idea of what SW Mo has to offer. We are now looking at 2014 to apply for the National Convention. If you live near a landmark, or tourist attraction, please bring pamplets, we will need about 35.
We hope to see everybody at the show, our next meeting is September 25th in Aurora, Mo at the St. John's Hospital at 1:00.

I am putting this request out in as many ways as possible to be sure that every member realizes a need for help to put on a successful show! If everybody brings one item to add to the raffle, we could have a great fundraiser. Also, if each person brought an item for the concession stand, then again, we could have more to sell. Also, we need sides for BBQ dinner on both Friday and Saturday night for supper. The BBQ is free ! We are not providing any other free meals!

Welcome!
Jayme's Jewels Dairy Goats is a small goat farm located in southwest Missouri. We have raised Alpines, Toggenbergs, Lamanchas and Rec. Grades. We have decided to cut our herd back to just Lamanchas and a few Rec. Grades and Alpines. We settled on the Lamanchas due to their sweet lovable personalities. We keep a small herd so we often have milkers and doeling avaible in the spring, we ussually start kidding in January and Febuary. If you are interested in getting a doe or doeling from us, send and email for what we have curantly avaiable.
